Lighthouse, Santa Cruz

I absolutely love lighthouses in all respects, but especially as painting subjects. I find them irresistible and this one, in Monterey Bay, California was no exception. I visited this beautiful place in 1994.

    I love the shadows on the right side of the lighthouse. The water looks so blue it is very tempting. California is one of our most beautiful states. It’s landscaping is so picturesque. You do have lots of material for beautiful painting like this one. Hopefully, we will see more of these in the future. Waiting patiently.
