nice! I like the way it is framed by the trees and especially like the way you rendered the water.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bill. The way I see it, lighthouses are such beautiful subjects that they make low-risk watercolors. You really have to work hard to mess up the scene.
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, never underestimate my ability to mess things up!
This painting demonstrates great reflections on the water. Most lighthouses are on a hill of some sort I’m surprise to see this one at sea level. I love the sky. Beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteJewell, I am guessing this is due to the flatness of the terrain. Thank you for the visit and comment.
ReplyDeletelove the sky.
ReplyDeleteactually I like all your posted watercolors.
gives me inspiration to get with it myself, and paint some watercolors.
Thank you Laura Moore. I hope you do paint some watercolors and enjoy it as much as I do.
ReplyDeleteLove this one. Color and sky fantastic. I enjoy all of your work.
