Old Collierville Presbyterian Church

Located at Walnut and Mulberry St. since1886, the Congregation moved to a new location at Poplar and Peterson Lake Road in 1965.

The Barber Shop

This is the Northwest corner of the Collierville Town Square as I saw it in 1994. The small white building was a barber shop at the time. The small trees are now big trees.

McGinnis Lumber & Hardware

It's been around for a long time in the Collierville Town Square, and you can always count on finding the doohickey you need with friendly service. This watercolor is now part of the April Art Exhibit at the Burch Library; I am very grateful to the Library for giving me the opportunity to display my work.

New Jersey or Bust!

Ocasionally we take a trip to New Jersey where we used to live. My wife is then tasked with taking pictures of the many barns and farms we pass along the road. The trees did not get in the way with this one...this sketch was done from one of those photos, a farm along Interstate I-40 in Tennessee.

Collierville Public Library

The Collierville Public Library ran out of room at its old location on Walnut Street. It is now in its new spacious building next to Collierville Town Hall.

Collierville Stockyards Co.

In Collierville, this is the Cattleman's Place.
This building is located on Highway 72.

First United Methodist Church

This beautiful church, one of the oldest in Memphis was tragically lost to fire on October 6, 2006.

Blues City Cafe

Great Blues Music, Great Barbeque...you just know you are on Beale Street.

Woodburn Farm

This image is a remnant of a Sunday drive around the Somerville area, Fayette County.

Old United Methodist Church

It was built in 1900 and it is located in the Southwest corner of the Collierville Town Square. The growing Congregation moved to a new location on Poplar Avenue in 1997.

Courthouse, Somerville

This building dates from 1925 and it was restored in the late nineties to its former glory, thanks to local efforts and a Federal Grant. It sits in a picturesque square in Somerville, Fayette County.

Cordova Winery

Founded in 1989, it was judged only four years later to be one of the best wineries in North America (Gault Millan). This painting was commissioned by a lady whose wedding reception had been held there.

The Old Stagecoach Rest Stop

This little log cabin was built back in 1851. I am sure it provided welcome rest to many weary and tired travelers. Thanks to restoration work it is alive and well in the Town Square.
